Why do we do it?
- We are fortunate to be living in a period when developments in astronomy are almost a weekly occurence
- There are so many exciting developments that we are spoiled for choice
- With the aid of digital technology, Amateur Astronomers can now produce images that only the largest observatories could achieve 20 years ago
- The Moon landings are now part of history and outside the experience of most people
